PETE WALDROOP

Pete Waldroop is the Chief Executive Officer of Waterfield Energy.  Pete is an energy industry executive with over 24 years of experience in software, consulting, and the energy business.  He has worked with clients such as ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, Anadarko Petroleum, DCP Midstream, EOG Resources, Range Resources, Targa Resources, Enbridge, Duke Energy, Gulf South, Enogex, El Paso Energy, ONEOK and many others to design and implement better software for the energy industry.

Pete’s areas of expertise include midstream processing and gathering, contract and tariff-based multi-commodity transportation (crude, refined products, ngls, and natural gas), upstream revenue accounting, and financial analytics including accrual modeling and dynamic forecasting based on various scenarios and variables.  Pete’s focus is driving client value up in everything Waterfield Energy delivers:  software, services, and support.

Prior to joining Waterfield Energy as CEO in 2010, Pete was a partner at Capitalize Consulting, an energy-focused consulting firm serving the upstream and midstream sectors.  As a consulting partner, he was responsible for helping clients evaluate and choose energy software solutions, leading the efforts to implement those solutions, and helping clients reorganize and change business processes to be more effective.

Previously, Pete was a founder and executive vice president at Quorum Business Solutions.  Pete served in various roles at Quorum and prior to leaving managed the Marketing and Transportation practice.

Pete was the original developer for TIPS in 1992 while at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).  He helped clients implement over 100 assets on the system while at Andersen and Quorum.

Pete is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with an honors degree in Electrical Engineering.

 MICHAEL TETZLAFF

tetzlaff-thum-2_101716Michael Tetzlaff is the CFO & Vice President of Software Operations for Waterfield Energy.  Michael manages the Software Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Services, Business Analysis, and Client Support teams at Waterfield Energy, and is responsible for Waterfield Energy’s internal Finance & Accounting.

Michael started his career at LaSalle Bank in Chicago in the bank’s executive training program.  He worked in the Information Systems, Regulatory Reporting, and Business Intelligence areas before transitioning to Financial Planning and Analysis.  After returning to school for his MBA, Michael moved to an Asset Management firm where he lead efforts to optimize internal processes, manage data flow across the organization, and support the firms internal and external clients.  Michael has over 15 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Information Systems Management, and Capital Markets.

Michael started at Waterfield as a Senior Consultant in Quality Assurance and Support and later became the manager of the QA & Support.  Michael then moved into the role of Director of Shared Services in charge of Software Development, Quality Assurance, Client Support, and Technical Services, before being promoted to VP of Finance & Software Operations and adding Waterfield’s internal finance and accounting to his responsibilities.  Michael’s goal is the continuous improvement of Waterfield’s processes to drive the highest quality software development, ensure rigorous testing standards are met, and provide world-class customer service to clients.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and a Masters of Business Administration from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.   Michael and his wife Courtney live in Tulsa with their daughter Elizabeth and son EJ.   Michael enjoys playing golf, traveling, and watching sports.

GREG POST 

Greg_On Background_Thumb_020315Greg Post is Executive Vice President of Upstream for Waterfield Energy.   He is a software and professional services industry executive with over 30 years of experience in delivering core business application solutions.

For the past 10 years Greg has been focused exclusively on delivering solutions for the Upstream segment of the Oil & Gas industry.   Prior to joining Waterfield Energy in 2015, Greg worked for Quorum Business Solutions as a client services executive in their Upstream consulting group where he was responsible for several of the largest Upstream ERP implementation projects and key client relationships.  Greg has specific and relevant experience in dynamic acquisition oriented situations.   Greg also led the development and integration of the core financials module in the creation of Quorum’s Upstream ERP offering.

Previously, Greg held senior level professional services positions with McGladrey, PwC, IBM and a variety of internet startups where he focused on practice development, client management and business application solutions delivery across a variety of industries.

Greg has an M.B.A in Finance from Texas Christian University and a B.S. in Management/Finance from Illinois State University.

MICHAEL FERRANTE

Option 2 - croppedMichael Ferrante is the Vice President of Implementation Services at Waterfield Energy. Michael manages the Waterfield Energy implementation team ensuring delivery of projects in a timely, efficient manner. Michael advises implementation teams on best practices and assists in analysis and design of new product features.

In his time at Waterfield Energy, Michael has lead implementation projects in many business areas of the industry including multi-commodity marketing, midstream processing and gathering, multi-commodity transportation, and upstream accounting. Michael’s extensive knowledge across the entire Waterfield suite of products and his continued commitment to client success were key factors that made him an ideal candidate to lead the Waterfield implementation team. Michael also helped build out various modules within Waterfield Energy ranging from marketing to gas balancing to land administration.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Oklahoma State University. Michael resides in Tulsa and spends his free time cycling, traveling, reading, and cooking.

NATHAN MATTHEWS

071917010Nathan Matthews is the Vice President of Technology for Waterfield Energy. In 2008 Nathan joined the Waterfield organization as a developer designing and building financial integration software.

Nathan has guided the design, architecture, and implementation of the Waterfield Energy suite of products. As VP of Technology, Nathan continues to focus on making Waterfield’s software robust, efficient, and innovative.

Nathan studied Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Tulsa with his fiancée Amy and their two cats, Bit and Dinobot.

TRACEY RADI

Tracey Radi is Director of Business Development at Waterfield Energy.  She joined the Waterfield family of companies in 2008.  Since that time, she has been very involved in setting the direction and philosophy for our approach to customer service and client relations.

Prior to joining Waterfield, Tracey built and trained teams specializing in sales, marketing, and customer service in a variety of industries including Energy.

As Director of Business Development, Tracey regularly introduces new clients to Waterfield Energy’s innovative suite of products, our strong commitment to partnership, and our obsession with providing world-class customer service.

Tracey graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  She lives in Tulsa with her husband Emery.  When not at work, Tracey can be found reading a mystery novel, shopping or taking long walks with their three rescue “mutts”, Freddie, Lucy and Scooby.

BILL LANE

02RBill Lane serves as Director of Sales for Waterfield Energy.  With over thirty years of oil and gas experience, Bill leverages his energy expertise, ability to understand the problem a customer is trying to solve and his business relationships in order to introduce prospective customers and partners to Waterfield’s technologically advanced solutions and superior customer service and support.

Bill began his career in oil and gas accounting having worked for companies that include utility, trading and midstream operations.  For the last 20 years, Bill has focused on developing relationships with executives and business users at hundreds of energy companies promoting software solutions for upstream, midstream, utility and trading and marketing segments of the industry.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.  Bill and his wife Jennifer live in Sugar Land with their children.  Bill enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and reading.

DARRELL PETTY

Darrell ThumbDarrell Petty serves as an advisor to the company.  He works directly with the executive team to improve processes and client satisfaction at Waterfield Energy.  He is responsible for oversight of product development, client implementation services, and client support services.

Darrell brings more than 20 years of professional services and information technology experience to Waterfield Energy.  He spent 18 years at Accenture, where as a Partner and Managing Director he helped Fortune 500 and Public Service clients improve their performance by addressing strategy, operations improvement, post-merger integration, and information technology needs via consulting and outsourcing engagements.  Darrell held various leadership positions at Accenture managing large global teams.

Darrell also brings small business experience to Waterfield, having held leadership positions and advisory board roles at a start-up technology services firm and an outsourcing services start-up.

Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.  He lives with his wife Cristi in Austin, Texas where they enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
